*Trash is collected every Wednesday in the Borough of Trappe.  Each residential property within the Borough has been provided one 96 gallon trash cart that is to be used for weekly pick up.

One 64 gallon recycling cart with a lid has been provided to each residential property within the Borough.

*Pick up for the week of  Labor Day will be delayed one day because of the Holiday. Pick up will be on Thursday.

 Bulk Pick Up

Bulk items are collected on the last collection day of each month. Residents may dispose of one item per month at no cost. Residents who wish to dispose of more than one bulk item per month may contract for this service with Waste Management at 1-800-869-5566.  You must specify that you are a resident of Trappe Borough (who has the account). The representative will take your payment information and address and create a ticket for pick up.

NOTE:  A mattress or box spring must be wrapped completely in plastic for pick up. Bags for those items can be purchased at most big home supply stores.

Compost Site Schedule

The Compost Site is located at 233 W. Seventh Avenue. All are invited to pick-up composted materials at no cost. Only residents of Trappe or Collegeville may dispose of waste. Please remember to bring proof of residency and photo identification!
